Busy
Stressful
Confusing
There's a lot I want to talk about, including relationships, uni stuff and college work but very little which I want to say/have permission to/feel is quite appropriate for this blog.
On the second I went to see Ed Bryne with Kate. Was a bit last minute and rushed. I swear to god. It was the funniest and best comedy gig I've ever been to.
Bill Bailey rated at 8 or 8.5 Ed rated at 9.5. It would have been a clean 10 if it wasn't for the fact that his first half wasn't quite so consistent as his second. The second half he talked about his relationship. I swear, this may have been the funniest and best written hour or so of comedy I have ever experienced. If you ever get the chance I implore you to go and see him. I would go and see the same show again. Truly fantastic.
Went to see Jimmy Carr at the Auditorium on the Saturday just gone. He'd get and 8 I think. He was good, and just as sharp and harsh as ever. His word play was fantastic. Some cocks for hecklers though. Sometimes i grow weary of him. I think he aims for the short jokes. His act included this when he told the two shortest jokes "Venison's deer isn't it?" and "Dwarf shortage". Funny yes... but I find I'm becoming (as Kate puts it) more of a "comedy connoisseur" I like more substance and back story to my humour.
Aside from these two little excursions and the odd band practise I have been desperately busy at work but mostly with college. The stress is unbelievable.
The doctors' say this is a major factor in my recent bout of Shingles. (which is really rather nasty.)
If you don't know what is it go here: [link] .
The shingles - aside from being painful - weren't that bad (though I think I'm going to be quite scarred and I'm not sure if I should play on the football team at Whitby this time).
Need to speak to people about that.
Anyway. The docs put me on two lots of tablets Aciclovir (which were really fantastic and cured me) and another lot - used as a painkiller called Amitriptyline.
Never again shall I willingly take these tablets. The short of it is this: They're antidepressants which block certain actions involving serotonin in your nerves. So you don't feel pain. They're also a sedative so they must be taken at night. The give you the most weird dreams ever! And make you go weird.... I was crying and laughing through the days and stuff. It really wasn't good. I stopped taking them after just over a week as I couldn't bare it any longer.
Tbh it made me act in a stupid way to someone I really like.
And cry my eyes out for a few ours straight when my glasses broke and I was having a bad day.
That's all for now. Whitby soon.

I think I look haggard and tired but that adds to the effect I suppose. Also my eyebrow was a bit spazzed but it's hard to get them perfect all the time
